Fighting for a good, free and democratic America
for our grandchildren
Grandparents Fight Back is a network of grandparents and friends of grandparents devoted to preserving America's democracy and decency. It was started in early February 2025 by two Brooklyn grandmothers who saw a need and urgent desire among Americans everywhere for help in responding to the many unlawful, unconstitutional, dangerous and abhorrent actions of the Trump Administration that threaten our democracy, our national security and our values. They felt that an organization of grandparents and others in that demographic would appeal to the many activists of the Baby Boom generation and would be rightly perceived as genuinely concerned not for themselves, but for future generations of America and of the world. As of late May, GFB has more than 210 members residing in 26 states and the District of Columbia.
